Construction

Once a potential site has been evaluated and approved, our Project Management Team consults with the franchisee through the entire site development and construction process. The Team offers its expertise in selecting a contractor, negotiating pricing, monitoring the construction activities, and assuring that the high quality standards of Dave's The Dog House™ are maintained.

Dave's The Dog House Project Administrators are chosen for their experience in your marketplace. We only use local Contractors and Suppliers to insure local satisfaction. Other Franchises force you to commit to National companies that are often overburdened with layers of paper work resulting in slow response time. Our Project Managers will supervise all aspects of construction including permits and approvals for your restaurant.

As construction begins, we monitor the progress of the work and keep you informed with bi-weekly status and schedule updates. After obtaining permits, a typical build-out is accomplished within approximately 8-10 weeks. This timeframe may vary depending upon site conditions and local jurisdictional requirements.

At the conclusion of construction, the Project Manager, architect, contractor and you will conduct a final, on-site inspection. This inspection allows all parties to review and approve the finished product and allows you to proceed to open your restaurant.
